Best of the Fest? Surely you mean Pests of the Fest?
What a disappointment the Paramount Comedy Festival was.
As Barrie Jerram so rightly hinted in his review (The Argus, September 17), most acts at The Dome on Friday 14 were simply awful.
The place was filled to capacity and I doubt I was the only one who felt sorely cheated afterwards.
We paid good money to see the "Best of the Fest" comedy acts and what did we get? - mediocre at best, atrocious for the rest. How dare The Dome insult us in that way?
May I suggest its management, as well as the Paramount team, visit Komedia on a regular basis to learn how comedy should be performed.
