I was astonished by Freddie Almanimbi's letter (November 30) about the Elton John concert.
Sussex County Cricket Club has turned down requests for concerts there in the past but considering Elton's status, he is "an artist who will grace the famous, old ground".
It will be an all-seats concert, which will limit the numbers.
We've been given seven months notice of this four-hour concert. Surely anti-concert people can make arrangements to be somewhere else on that day.
