It's right to raise the pension age to 69. But this should be without discrimination - for private and public sectors and for men and women.
Workers are fitter these days, live longer, work into their 70s and enjoy keeping fit and active.
Employers should pay higher contributions towards a state pension. Then they would be more reliable than most of the private pension schemes on offer today.
