Sandra Betton (Letters, December 3) lacks many of the facts about the Falmer stadium site.
It won't be in the "beautiful village of Falmer" but in a muddy field the other side of a motorway.
And the crowds of fans will arrive by public transport and won't park in the village.
And if policing fans will be "a nightmare", why were there no arrests at all at Withdean in 2004?
I can only apologise for disrupting Ms Betton's ordinary life when she lived in Fonthill Road, which I seemingly did by walking past her house in a stripy shirt to games at the Goldstone Ground.
It seems she, Falmer's villagers, and Lewes District Council have a singular and common fear of local working-class people.
