Two of Britains's most respected jazz vocalists, Claire Martin and Ian Shaw, perform a festive selection of swinging seasonal stocking-fillers.

Both artists are winners of the Best Jazz Vocalist title in the BBC Jazz Awards (Martin in 2003 and Shaw in 2004) and have built an enviable reputation for their slick duet shows of classic songs in both jazz and pop idioms.

Claire's voice has prompted such declarations as "not only the finest female British jazz singer of her generation but possibly of all time," (Jazz Times). Her 11th album was released in September.

As a producer and composer, Ian has worked for labels including Universal and Decca, and with artists including Gwyneth Herbert and Will Rutter. He has also starred in Jerry Springer: The Opera, as the warm-up man/devil (a part that was specially created for him) and is a regular on BBC Radio. But it is as a singer he is most celebrated.

This festive performance will feature a selection of inimitable interpretations of songs ranging from Nat King Cole and Shirley Horn through to Joni Mitchell and Phoebe Snow.

Starts 8pm, tickets cost £15/£12. Call 01273 647100.
