Diamonds may be a girl's best friend but with crystal and leather you can kit yourself out like Sussex gem and glamour model Jordan.

The mother-of-two put some festive sparkle into Sussex by launching her first ever jewellery collection last night in Brighton.

Fans gathered at the Argos store in Western Road, Brighton, to catch a glimpse of the star, real name Katie Price, whose jewellery collection will be sold exclusively through the Argos chain until January 20.

Among the Jordan range is a replica of the stunning engagement ring her singer husband Peter Andre gave her.

Peter, the father of her second child, Junior, is reputed to have splashed out more than £5,000 on the diamond ring, while fans of the couple can pick up a similar ring, inspired by her own, from her new range for just £12.99. The cheapest piece of bling in her collection is the stainless steel body bar at £9.99. The ring is described as a stunning sterling silver plated pink and white crystal set ring.

Other items among the model's jewellery range is a charm bracelet, earrings, a dog tag pendant, a leather charm cuff bangle, a T-bar heart bracelet and a body bar.

Jordan, who lives in Maresfield, was signing pieces from her new jewellery range for fans outside last night's launch.

An Argos spokesman said: "We are delighted that Jordan's first ever jewellery range will be exclusive to Argos. We are expecting a huge demand in the run up to Christmas."

Jordan, who went to school in Hove and who has a child, Harvey, with footballer Dwight Yorke, is known for her love of the glittering lifestyle.

At her summer wedding, she was dressed in a tight-fitting pink gown covered in fake jewels. The star rolled up to Highclere Castle, Berkshire, in a Cinderella-style coach for the service which rivalled that of Victoria and David Beckham in 1999.
