I have read many articles on the Letters pages of The Argus recently from individuals who are against Lewes District Council's decision to apply for a judicial revue of the decision by the Deputy Prime Minister to allow the proposed football stadium at Falmer to proceed.
I am particularly concerned about the manner in which many writers have attempted to make the issue party political, pointing out LDC is run by the Lib Dems, thus implying all Lib Dems are also against the development. This is simply not the case.
As a member of Brighton Lib Dems, I support the new stadium.
The Falmer stadium issue isn't party political but is a matter of conflicting principles of the environment versus the long-suffering Albion and their fans, who both desperately need a stadium.
