In response to the letter from Mr and Mrs RA Saldanha (December 7) about Councillor Anne Giebeler, as I do not reside in her Ward, I have no way of knowing whether she is a good councillor.
My concern is whether she and other independents who defected from the Conservatives can represent the people rather than themselves.
I was brought up to believe that loyalty at all costs was of paramount importance.
