A student, a college professor and allegations of sexual harrassment. When David Mamet's Oleanna was first staged in 1992, it was nothing if not controversial.

Now Brighton-based theatre company Tucked In, formed by University of Sussex graduate Nick Chambers, are taking on this gritty campus drama full of terse, cryptic dialogue.

When American college teacher John meets with student Carol about her work, they seem to encounter a communication problem.

John's preoccupation with his own affairs and Carol's inability to understand his ideas, leads them toward a gutwrenching climax which jeopardises both of their careers.

"I want people to come and see a Tucked In show and come out debating furiously," says Chambers.

"I want them to pay attention to detail and not be afraid to read something in a show nobody else picked up on."
