I read with interest your report on the worst shopping centres and I cannot believe Brighton and Hove did not come out on top (The Argus, December 29, 2005).
Brighton has not been the same since the Hannington store closed.
The Churchill Square shopping mall must be voted the dullest centre, with only shoes, CDs, clothing and shops for young people. Hove's George Street and Blatchington Road are full of charity shops and cafes.
Churchill Square shopping mall and Hove's George Street managements need to bring in fresh, young blood who will bring the city's shopping centre into line with Crawley and Bluewater.
I think Worthing has a better shopping centre than Brighton and Hove.
