We keep hearing about the "closed doors" cabinet system, under which Lewes District Council decided to seek a judicial review on Falmer.
Many of those who criticise it were, in fact, were also those who wanted to keep such a set-up, rather than welcome the open-committee system which was the resounding result of the Allies for Democracy campaign in 2001.
