What a wonderful letter from Gary Bennett about the death of common sense (December 6).
I would like to mourn the passing of its relative, shame. This word should be removed from the dictionary, as no one on this island has any.
With people running up enormous debts they know they are never going to pay off by declaring themselves bankrupt, the unemployed taking benefits and not bothering to look for work and single mothers demanding housing - the list is endless.
Shame on all of them.
