It was with much sadness I read that The Mock Turtle is due to close (The Argus, January 9).
It was a place of charm and calm in an increasingly bland, corporate, glass-and-chrome Brighton.
And boy, did it do great cakes.
I hope a visionary entrepreneur buys the business and lets it continue untouched.
Failing that, we could always have another corporate coffee chain.
