The point I wanted to make when I informed The Argus about my rabbits' illness was that people must get their rabbits vaccinated.
I am concerned the article (January 9) suggested they need not bother but, without vaccination, rabbits face a terrible death from Myxomatosis and also from VHD, another deadly rabbit disease.
Vaccination is a vital and life-saving part of looking after your pets and no owner, even of indoor rabbits, should put it off.
Without vaccination, my rabbits would have been so much worse and they would have been put to sleep.
But with vaccination, they have a chance of recovery.
I would also like to thank Tracee and Greg, the brilliant vets who have looked after my three rabbits so well, along with all the staff at New Priory veterinary surgery in Westdene, Brighton.
