I am writing about Debbie Campain of Cat Rescue, Telscombe Cliffs, who, through no fault of her own, may have to give up her home and rescue centre.
Over the years, I have taken many rabbits and guinea pigs from her which are unsuitable for rehoming to families with children, for example.
I have taken on hundreds of these animals and have kept them as pets so they can live freely in peace and harmony until the end of their days. Admittedly, it's an expensive hobby.
My main concern is over who will take on these neglected animals when, or if, the rescue centre was to close.
Rabbits and guinea pigs are, in fact, more neglected than other animals, including dogs and cats.
The RSPCA only has limited resources and it seems to be more concerned with larger, cuter animals than something living in a forgotten hutch down at the bottom of someone's garden.
I wish Debbie good luck and thank her on behalf of the rabbits and guinea pigs she has saved.
