How true Lee Mitchells' words are in your article in The Guide (The Argus, January 20) about the Hammerpot Brewery.
There is a real resurgence and interest in locally-brewed beers. There are 17 breweries (there are more due to open shortly) in the county all, producing good quality ales.
All of which will be represented at the forthcoming 16th Sussex Beer and Cider Festival due to be held at Hove Town Hall in March, where nearly 60 locally-brewed real ales will be available at the Sussex Bar.
If one of those doesn't suit your taste there are another 140 beers to try. Don't forget the locally-produced ciders and perries.
