Dennis Rodman's Valentine's date at the Brighton Centre is definitely ON thanks to public demand.

The five times MBA champion will make his second appearance for Genesis Brighton Bears when they host title-chasing Newcastle Eagles on Tuesday, February 14.

Bears sponsors Genesis Forwarding Services of Eastbourne will again be footing the bill and wanted to gauge public opinion before bringing Rodman back.

Fans voted 9-1 in favour of Rodman's return.

Bears head coach Nick Nurse was delighted. He said: "Doug Currie at Genesis told the fans he would put it out there for them to vote on and he has done exactly that.

"The fans want Dennis and we are excited about that prospect."

Fans attending tomorrow night's game with Birmingham Bulletts at the Brighton Centre (7pm) will get first crack at buying tickets for Rodmania II.

Bears are releasing 2,000 balcony seats at £15 each.

Lower level seats on the popular south side will be £20 and corporate boxes are also available.

Nurse has been assured by the British League that tomorrow's game will go ahead, despite fears the crisis-torn Bulletts may seek a postponement.
