I wish to pay tribute to a great musician who has recently passed away, a local musician, a gentleman, a genius in the music world and a wonderful human being.
There was only one Tony Back and he will be greatly missed. I have performed with him many times and it was always the greatest pleasure as his artistry was unique.
I was the last person to perform with him, on Christmas Eve in a hotel in Worthing, and I really cannot come to terms with the fact I will not perform with him again.
