Saturdays come around much quicker than before I retired and the days seem so much shorter.
I'd blame Labour but I'd be wrong because they only increase everything. Gas and electricity dual fuel bills now average £20 per week.
I would consider solar power but we get little sunshine. There's no point in getting a generator because of the incredibly high oil price.
Nope, I'll stay in my woolly hat and bed socks for the time being but, no doubt, will have to venture outside to get water from the standpipe soon.
