Perhaps Rob Hustwayte might consider investigating the steady rise in allowances and expenses paid to councillors and the millions of pounds spent on outside consultants which our councillors seem unable to do without.
Council tax has risen so much in the past few years it could now be classed as a second rent (paid to Brighton and Hove City Council).
Where does the lolly go? We, the taxpayers, would like to know.
