I have recently acquired an ashtray (pictured) which is quite old, I would say the turn of the century.
Do any readers know where this hotel was or is? I am 63 and have never seen or heard of it.
It looks like the London Road area near to Preston Park judging by the splendid entrance.
I seem to remember a lot of very large premises around that area, which have all long gone, more's the pity.
