A gripping children's story, The Crowstarver tells the tale of "Spider" Sparrow, abandoned as a baby in a lambing pen.
Taken in by farmers, the boy grows up with an amazing way with animals. He tames foxes, scares away crows from the farm fields and even tames a bucking bronco - but danger is always just around the corner.
Set during the Second World War, The Crowstarver, adapted for the stage by Theatre Alibi, is based on the book by bestselling childrens' author Dick King Smith.
Performances Thurs 2pm, Friday 7pm, Sat 2pm. Tickets cost £7-12.50. Call 01273 685861
