Today, I had an appointment at the Royal Sussex County Hospital at 11am.

I arrived at the hospital at 10.40am to give myself plenty of time to park.

As I approached the multistorey car park, I was stopped by a man who told me the queue for parking was 40 minutes so I would be better off driving around the surrounding streets looking for somewhere to park.

Luckily, I found a place at a few minutes to 11.

I am concerned about parking for the elderly and disabled. And, especially in emergencies, where are the parents attending the new children's hospital going to park?
