Could someone please tell me why Brighton and Hove City Council are still allowing travellers to park in Madeira Drive?
They have taken over the whole car park with not only all manner of vehicles - caravans, cars, vans, you name it - but also washing lines and dogs.
The original reason was there was a woman due to have a baby so the council wouldn't move them.
OK, it's nice to be nice but I drove along Madeira Drive this week (well, halfway along) only to find more than 15 caravans and cars blocking the road creating, once again, a complete camp site, washing and all.
Please, could the council or anyone else tell me how these non-council-tax-payers get away with it.
PS: I think I'll buy a caravan.
