Simon Wormull has begun the predicted player exodus from Crawley Town by joining Conference south side Lewes.
The midfielder, who had a spell as Reds' caretaker manager earlier this season, is the first player to leave following revelations of a financial crisis at the Broadfield Stadium.
The club said on Thursday the entire squad had been put up for sale and that all their employees, including players and office staff, would have to take a 50 per cent wage cut. February's wages remain unpaid.
