The inventor of a reusable dog mess bag is to appear on the Paul O'Grady television show with it.
Horsham inventor Rick Buckley has already been on Richard Hammond's Five O'Clock Show after his idea gained the attention of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Mr Buckley met Clive Bonny, a DTI innovation mentor, while he was exhibiting at Horsham's MicroBiz 2005.
Mr Buckley sold him three of his Walkies reusable dog waste bags which are already in production and selling at Horsham market.
Mr Bonny asked Mr Buckley about the future of his business.
Mr Buckley said: "Until that point I was an inventor, not a business person. I knew my product was commercially viable but needed a proper business plan and direction.
"With Clive's support and a the DTI grant I was subsequently awarded, in ten months I have cemented the plan, attended inventors' exhibitions, joined inventors' clubs and built a whole vista of opportunities to market this product.
"Attending MicroBiz definitely catapulted me into this position. It changed my idea into a reality, gave me the confidence and really highlighted the importance of networking."
The MicroBiz Fair takes place this year on Saturday, March 18, in Horsham's Drill Hall, Denne Road, from 10am until 4pm. Entry is free.
Another MicroBiz Fair takes place at the Steyning Centre, Steyning, on Saturday June 24.
