The biggest event of Fairtrade Fortnight in Brighton and Hove will take place next week.

A debate entitled "Fair trade and big business - the perfect blend?" will be held at the Brighthelm Centre, North Road, Brighton on March 16 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

It will be led by Harriet Lamb, director of the Fairtrade Foundation.

There will also be senior representatives of Sussex University, the Institute of Development Studies and businesses and lobby groups.

There will be free fair trade refreshments.

Fairtrade Fortnight runs until March 19.

The talk has been organised by the Brighton and Hove Fairtrade Campaign Group and Burgess Hill Fairtrade Steering Group.
