The Concorde 2 felt like a bit of a time warp on Tuesday night, as the original rebellious punk rocksters came on stage.
Looking a bit withered but still up for it, much like when you see Mick Jagger these days, the Buzzcocks can still spin out a tune or two.
Steve Diggle proceeded to string out a number of the band's old classics, including Ever Fallen In Love and Something's Gone Wrong Again, both taken from the band's classic 1979 Singles Going Steady album.
The Buzzcocks also bashed out a few tracks from their newly-released album Flat Pack Philosophy, proving punk is transferable through the ages.
Judgement on the new material will probably be mixed. But most of it sounded decent enough.
It certainly conjured up the spit-in-your-face-kick-you-in-the-head attitude of British punk's heyday.
The Buzzcocks are back from the dead.
Or, more accurately, back from the Seventies.
