The following corrects inaccuracies in your article concerning The Alliance Against Urban 4x4s Action (The Argus, March 6).

I am not the founder of our group. That is Sian Berry.

The name of our group is "The Alliance Against Urban 4x4s" (AAU4x4s) not "National Alliance Against Urban Four by Fours".

It was reported Keith Taylor of the Green Party organised the event. While being closely involved, he was not the organiser. That was Sian Berry and the AAU4x4s.

The article reports we were ticketing "Big Cars" which is not strictly accurate. We specifically target 4x4 vehicles which have uniquely poor performance in terms of fuel consumption and safety.

MPVs and other large road vehicles can be used for the same tasks as a 4x4 in the urban environment but at a far lower environmental, financial and human cost.

There was no mention of the stall we had set up on Gardner Street.

Many thanks for turning out and reporting on us.
