With reference to the article concerning the parking scheme petition (The Argus, March 24), I must, as a resident car owner of parking area H, express my outrage at the lack of consideration for tenants who live in this area.
Due to great demand from staff and visitors at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, parking for residents in this area is progressively getting worse.
While I appreciate the need for visits to the hospital and the expertise we have at the hospital from dedicated staff members, surely it's time to consider the needs of the residents who, after a long day, a shopping trip or perhaps with a disability, come home only to find, once again, day or night, they cannot park near their home.
To those signing this petition, please consider how you may feel, after a long day, not being able to come home and park. I hope the residents of area H will now take a stand and perhaps come forward with their views.
