Several years ago, when I was actively tracing my family history, you published a letter from me asking if there were any descendants of my great aunt living locally.
The very next day I received a letter from a second cousin and we have been great friends ever since.
Recently, you again published a letter from me asking if anybody could tell me where I could get brass collars for the walking sticks I make as a hobby.
Once again you have come up trumps, as one of your readers has offered to make them for me and several others have been in touch.
What can I say? Please accept my grateful thanks. You have certainly done me proud. Keep up the good work.
