I am writing to thank all the staff at the Royal Sussex County Hospital Cardiac Unit for the professionalism and dedication they showed when I was admitted, via A&E, on April 5, suffering severe chest pains.
On the ward I was immediately put at ease, as it was apparent they were in total control of the situation.
After tests I was diagnosed as having had a heart attack and comforted, reassured and kept informed of their every decision in treating me.
The operation I had, though maybe minor and everyday to the professionals, sounded daunting to me but, again, I was reassured.
I was discharged on April 7 with everything needed for follow-up treatment and the rehabilitation nurses, doctors and therapists all laid on for me.
What a professional service these people provided.
Once again, thank you.
