A Seminar is to be held to advise businesses how to be more environmentally-friendly.
Hastings Sustainable Business Partnership is hosting the event to tell firms about the benefits of minimising waste and considering green issues.
Representatives from Envirowise, the Environment Agency, Southern Water and the Carbon Trust will be on hand to talk entrepreneurs through topics including hazardous waste, energy prices, industrial effluence and waste and energy audits.
Simon Hubbard, Hastings Borough Council's director of regeneration and planning, said: "More and more people are becoming environmentally aware when choosing products and services, so firms that are sensitive to these issues can reap major benefits."
The free event will be held on April 26 at Pestalozzi International Village, Sedlescombe. For information email Tim Clark on tclark@hastings.gov.uk or call 01424 451486.
