Nu-folk singer Martha Tilston says this gig will be "magical" as it's the first time her new band, The Woods, have played together in their home city of Brighton.
Martha will be playing tunes from her official debut album Bimbling, which was released in February.
Intimate and atmospheric, the songs have a striking attention to detail and should make for a sparkling live show.
Martha was born in the West Country. Her father Steve Tilston is a well-respected musician (whose songs are covered by Fairport Convention among others) and her stepmother is folk singer Maggie Boyle.
She first appeared on the scene three years ago with acoustic duo Mouse. They gained respect and a dedicated following, both in the underground festival scene and as part of contemporary acoustic culture.
At the end of 2002, Martha supported Damien Rice on tour round Ireland and this was really the start of her solo career.
Starts 8pm, tickets cost £8. Call 01273 647100.
