Mr Justice Finestein's description of the decision to prosecute a boy of ten for alleged "racist" remarks as "crazy" and "political correctness gone mad" (The Argus, April 6) should be the final confirmation of the police state we now seem to be living in.

I have not yet heard any condemnation of this outrageous prosecution from Mr Blair or Mr Cameron, both of whom seem frightened to say boo to a goose when the thought crime of racism is raised.
