John Hollins has ruled out wholesale changes to his squad this summer, even if the Conference lift their transfer embargo.

The Crawley manager will struggle to sign new players because 14 of the current squad have a year left on their contracts.

There has been no choice for Hollins but to work with the players he inherited when he took over last November due to financial restrictions.

Omari Coleman and Gavin Gordon are his only permanent signings.

Crawley were hit with an embargo in January after exceeding the playing budget set by the league.

They will be docked three points and fined a maximum £10,000 unless they can satisfy the Conference that their money problems are resolved.

Hollins, who revealed this week that he wants to extend his stay at Broadfield Stadium, will meet chairman Azwar Majeed next week to discuss his future.

He said: "People want to see lots of new signings but what a lot of them don't realise is that we have 14 players on two-year contracts.

"They are still going to be here next season and we then have to work around things like budgets and everything else to see if we can get anyone else in.

"We have people ringing us up about players and we get sent lots of CVs but we have not got much room to manoeuvre.

"We will sit down next week and plan what we need to do next season. Then we will have a better idea what we can do."

Hollins has urged his players not to let the season end on a negative note.

Since securing Conference safety, Reds have drawn 2-2 against Halifax and lost 4-0 at Exeter.

They travel to relegation battlers Tamworth tomorrow for their last game of the campaign.

Hollins said: "It would be very disappointing if we finished the season with two defeats and a draw.

"I don't want things to fizzle out, I want us to end with a win. The relief of staying up has taken a bit of an edge off us.

"We are no longer playing with pressure but sometimes you need pressure to really perform and get at them."

Tamworth need three points to guarantee survival but Hollins is determined not to make it easy for them. He said: "I don't do anyone any favours. No one was kind to us when we were down there and we won't be kind to them.

"My target was to finish on 50 points but we can't do that now. We can finish on 49, though, so that is what I want."

Crawley will again be severely depleted for the trip to Staffordshire. Hollins played defender Dave Woozley up front at Exeter on Tuesday after being left with one fit striker in Danny Ekoku.

He may be forced into drastic action again as Steve Burton is struggling with a groin injury.

Defender Chris Giles, who has deputised as a make-shift forward this season, is also a doubt with a thigh problem.

Paul Armstrong, Omari Coleman, Tony Scully and Gavin Gordon remain sidelined.

Hollins said: "There is not much you can do when you are down to the bare bones. Players are tired and have injuries but they are showing a lot of character by not giving up."
