More than 50 giant photos are acting as an poignant reminder of the devastating tsunami that swept across south Asia.
After the Wave: The Tsunami Remembered, features work by some of Britains top news photographers and its distinctive layout has already attracted a lot of attention from passers-by.
The free exhibition is on show outside the Jubilee Library as part of the Brighton Festival Fringe until the end of June.
It has been set up by Oxfam and sponsored by Rex Features and aims to contrast the devastation with images of hope.
Photographers featured include Scott Barbour from Getty Images, Dan Chung from The Guardian, Chris Harris from The Times and freelancer John Angerson.
A spokesman for Oxfam said: "The exhibition is a visual testimony to the incredible strength of the men, women and children who have lived through the tsunami and are beginning to rebuild their lives."
