The Argus has printed one or two letters recently which imply the writers weren't at the show or gig. I presume it's another way of saying they don't agree with the reviewer.
With this in mind, I thought Bella Todd's review of Teddy Thompson's gig at the Old Market last Friday was spot on. It summed up a very good evening perfectly.
Teddy Thompson might well be playing at the Dome on his next visit to the city.
What a good venue the Old Market is, too. There can't be many non-pub venues where a performer can ask the bar for a drink and have it delivered to the front of the stage.
