We have considered taking on a retail unit in The Royal Arcade opposite Worthing Pier several times but feel it is very poorly promoted and, indeed, decorated when one looks at the entrance from the pier end.
The Connaught Dining Rooms are shabbily presented and give the wrong impression at the entrance of the arcade, given the type of retail units located there.
We are sure, with a new entrance way, this arcade could boom.
It is classy and well presented inside, although it could do with more regular cleaning.
We feel it could be a real bonus to the town.
