Women in business can attend a day of workshops and exhibitions tailored to their needs.
New You, New Business at Hove Town Hall on Saturday, May 20, is aimed at women who need a platform to showcase their work or who are thinking of starting up.
The event will provide all the information and resources they need.
Organiser Anne Sherrington said: "We didn't want to go down the traditional workshop/seminar route, although they are valuable vehicles in their own right.
"We wanted to add a sense of fun and pleasure to learning, remove the mystique around starting a business, make it informative but most of all make it fun."
Workshops, which can be booked in advance, will range from financial guidance to speaking with confidence.
Ms Sherrington said: "We have all sorts of businesses showcasing their products, from alternative therapies such as reflexology and Indian head massage to wine-tasting.
"It's is aimed at women but men are very welcome."
