It is bizarre that ING, the financial institution behind the developer of the King Alfred project, hasn't withdrawn its support yet.
If I were an investor in a financial institution that continued to back a development which is generating community ire, is of questionable design and sustainability and is now proving to be financially unviable, I'd certainly withdraw my investment and look for somewhere more responsible to invest both my money and my faith.
The King Alfred development, more now than ever, appears to be all sizzle and no steak.
