As we head deeper into drought conditions and water companies seek ever tougher restrictions on what we can or can't do with our water, spare a thought for those lovely people who want to operate waste incinerators.
The one planned for Newhaven would still be allowed to take 5,000 litres per hour from mains water.
The operating company seems to think this is acceptable.
