Regarding George Sanders, no doubt Gordon Dean is correct in stating he was educated at Bedales and Manchester Technical School (Letters, May 6).
However, Sanders also went to Brighton College between 1919 and 1922. Other former pupils of Brighton College are Matt Prior and Carl Hopkinson, currently playing cricket for Sussex, and Clare Connor, who recently captained England Ladies' cricket team to win against the Australians and was subsequently awarded an OBE.
I was a pupil at the school between 1934 and 1939 and, some 20 to 30 years ago, was president of the Old Brightonian Association.
