We share the devastation of many Hove residents over the Sackville Hotel, which has disappeared from Hove Seafront after 79 years of loyal service.
Our sympathies are also with the owners, who had so looked forward to completing a grand renovation of the property.
Now the hotel has been demolished, we hope it will be replaced by a building which is in keeping with the architectural traditions of the area.
