May I congratulate Reg Haydon on his OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours - "Reginald George Leslie Haydon. Chair. Tenant Farmers' Association. For services to the agricultural industry (Arundel, West Sussex)" - and also for his services to The Joad Society.
Without the generosity of spirit he and his wife, Jill, displayed, The South Stoke Festival of Thought 2003 at South Stoke Farm - to mark the 50th Anniversary of Cyril Joad (1891-1953) - would never have taken place.
