Congratulations to everyone involved in the campaign to build a skate park for young people at Hove Lagoon.
Veolia Environmental Trust's grant of £35,000 to Skate Expectations is fantastic news and will help take this much needed project closer to reality. Having been involved in the campaign to build the children's paddling pool at Hove Lagoon and seen the pleasure it has brought to so many children and families, it is wonderful to think Hove Lagoon could soon see a skate park which will enable children to practice their skills in a safe environment.
