In response to GF Mower's rather acerbic comments (Letters, July 15), as this person doesn't actually reside in the city of Brighton and Hove, I am puzzled as to why they are so concerned with its social integration and misdemeanours.
I didn't attend the Elton John gig but my wife took my 74-yearold mother along and they had a great time.
My wife had three or four glasses of wine and my mother at one point stood up and moved about in order to visit the lavatory - outrageous.
