Washington booked a semi-final spot in the Dudlety Guest Hospital Cup with a five goal victory over Crown Inn. The early exchanges produced little for Crown and Washington edged in front on 20 minutes against the run of play. Washington settled and two further first half goals were to follow. A solid second half produced further goals for Washington who found themselves rarely troubled, players scoring for Washington were Andy Mallett, Chris Whitehouse, Kevin Gibson (two) and an own-goal.

Second division leaders Old Mill knocked out Ruiton by a 5-0 score-line, a Mick Westwood brace was added to with strikes from Martin Price and Mark Pountney.

A seven goal bashing by Sporting Club from Division Two put paid to any hope of Division One side Chop House progressing while Dudley Bush completed the semi line-up with a 6-1 win against Spills Meadow, Lloyd Anderson collecting a hat-trick, John Farmer a brace and a solo strike from Stuart Birmingham.
