A former Playboy model who beat up a woman in a Brighton nightclub has denied failing to do unpaid work as part of her punishment.

Louise Glover attacked the daughter of 1980s musician Paul Hardcastle in the ladies loos at the city's Oceana Club.

Glover, 27, was found guilty of causing actual bodily harm to Maxine Hardcastle by a jury at Hove Crown Court in February.

She was given a 30 week prison sentence suspended for two years and was ordered to do 100 hours unpaid community work.

Judge Charles Kemp was told yesterday (tue) that Glover has not done any of her community service at all.

Glover appeared at Hove Crown Court to answer charges that she had not turned up for her first two appointments with probation officers on February 22 and March 1.

Asked if she admitted the allegations she said loudly: “No, not at all.”

Glover, who was wearing a figure-hugging lime green jacket and black trousers, was granted bail until a hearing on May 14.

She was banned from contacting victim Maxine Hardcastle for ten years when she was sentenced in February.

The court was told that she smashed Miss Hardcastle's head against a toilet rim ten times during the confrontation in December 2007.

Glover, who starred in the video of Scouting for Girls hit She's so Lovely, attacked her in a fit of jealousy.

She followed Miss Hardcastle into a toilet cubicle and locked the door behind her before accusing her of flirting with her husband Ben Porter.

Judge Kemp told Glover, after she was found guilty: “This was a vicious and unprovoked attack motivated by a totally irrational fit of jealousy.

“You are a woman who made a living based on your appearance, self-confidence and outgoing nature.

“You should know better than anyone what it means to be robbed of those attributes.”
