Secret Discotheque only arrived in Brighton last September but after eight successful months the night has been moved to Coalition.
Add that to its expanding roster of cities which now includes Cambridge, Southampton and Chichester, and it looks like the mix of retro disco, 80s pop, hair metal, TV theme tunes and so-called “uncool” songs, is just what the club world has been waiting for.
Serious clubbers would balk at such a statement, not to mention the tune selections, but the kids (and students) aren’t complaining.
Expect everything from Prince, Blondie and Wham to Spice Girls, Madonna and Backstreet Boys, plus a truckload of youngsters going wild.
